So here's another one for the crowd of photography! This blog features another one of my friends from Middle school, Theresa Fanene, doin it big! proud of you despite the downfalls we've overcome; it's grown out of us to become better people towards eachother; still waiting tah reunite in Cali tah have our lil' luncheon! ahahaha! ♥ you sis!

I've loved photography for as long as I could remember. I love candid moments especially. I love the love I feel through the photos. Photography to me isn't work, it's a dream come true. I have always wanted to run my own business since I graduated high school. But I had to put my dreams on hold to help my family[parents]. But once I had my own little family, thats when I realized how much photos really impact your life. SO one night me & my husband discussed starting a business. He[Tuma] had faith in me, I'll admit I wasn't sure if it was going to work. You can say I doubted myself. But in all honesty he kept reminding me..."I'd rather see you fail at something that you love to do....then succeed in a field you hate". TO me that was my motivation besides my daughter, besides the fact I wanted to stay home, travel & make my own schedule. My husband is my BIGGEST SUPPORT foundation. So to love what I do & help others while doing it means so much more to me. I hope to one day help other up & coming photographers with the knowledge I have. I am grateful for the friends I've made along the way, the lessons I've learned & most important - finding my LOVE & where I am most creative at. My love for photography has made me see photos in a whole new light.

"I believe in chasing your dreams, no matter how long you have put them on hold. ITS WORTH IT. The experience alone is a far better ride, if you ask me. The best advice I can give to my PHOTOGRAPHY lovers & hoping to pursue this field. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't make it, there are no jobs for you, photography gives you a chance to BREAK out of the ordinary & work magic behind the lens. Hawaii's brand new "go to spot" for the cutest "celebrity inspired style" handbags for any price point. Owner Chantha P. had a passion for fashion and shopping was her therapy. She combined those two qualities and Knotty Kompany was born.

As a first generation Laotian-American woman, Chantha, always dreamt of being an entrepreneur, running a business she could call her own. And with the start of a new company she can finally say that dream came true.
"I'm able to shop for those with the same fashion flair and love every minute of it!"

A little background history on the owner:

-Born in a refugee camp in Manila, Philippines
-Parents came to Hawaii for the warm weather to be able to farm. Thats where I spent my weekends, waiver days, summer vacations.

"After losing my father to cancer in 2003 and younger brother five years later my whole outlook on life had changed and I wanted to set my fears aside and live life and not just exist in this world because not everyone has that chance to do so. I don't want to regret not doing things in life and having a child only pushes me to work harder. We all know life is short but so why not make the best of it."-Chantha P.

2 hours of sleep is so not the business on a Monday morning! But I had no choice because it was time to do my niecy Joslynn and her friend Tasha's hair and make up for their 8th grade banquet; boy was i exhausted; yet surprised that I even woke up? LOL!! She's come along way; and deserved to get her aunty's skilled work upon her.. bwahahaha jks!! Saves money to get things done by me; TRUE STORY! lol ...Anyway here are the pictures of the two; so grown up; I'm begining to feel OLD ahaha! Maybe just a lil' bit? ahahaha! Enjoy!

Oh the joy of getting to try on new fits! Most of all the thrills to know you'll get to fill up those empty spaces in your closet :); Went shoppin' and tried on a grip of dresses only to find me walkin out with 2 that only cost me under $20 bucks.. talk about bargain! :) I LOVE ROSS! ahahaha! can never gO wrOng fOr dressing fOr less ;] the two i walked out with; green ruffled button down dress; and the black/maroon/white off the shoulder! a few pictures below to show the many dresses that i've tried on :)

It was my first night out to the club in a LOOOOOOOONG time; oh the nerves begin to kick in; wondering if I'll ever fall back into temptation and abandon my promise that I've made. On the ride to the beautiful waikiki; We approach the door and pass the long line straight into the VIP line :) thank goodness for VIP lists; another way of saving money ahahaha! as I enter the huge doors I realize this club has these gorgeous flight of steps leading to the dance floor and bar... it's early; the crowd isn't bumpin just yet; so we gather ourselves a place to sit. And the party begins; temptation was there; but I fought it and survived :) ; danced through the night in heels; boy were they a pain! especially being that I haven't worn them in a while LOL!! Spotted, a tall handsome daddy material *sighs* if only I layed hands on him; or even had the courage to approach him; I'd probably lose my mind LOL!!! The night went well, and better than I had expected! I have learned to be sober, is the best way to go! I've witnessed them all; drunk or sober; they were all hilarious! Saw some of my friends at their worst LOL!! A few pictures to show off the night :)

Saturday; May 22, 2010 early morning I awake to the noise of my sister and her kids LOL!!; it's time to wake up and get ready to do hair and make up for the bridesmaids :) sadly to my stupidity and forgetful self; i didn't get any pictures of the finish product .. but I'll make sure to get them the next time I ever do a make over LOL!!! :P Later that day we headed out to a wedding reception; had a blast! didn't get much pictures that I wanted; cause I was occupied with Emani's lil brother Elyus LOL!! so I've got pics with him instead ahahaha! anyway this is how my weekend went..

Besides the fact that I've overslept and missed church today LOL!! 2 weeks in a row i haven't gone to church :( so not cool! I shall make up for it next week indeed! .. Tonight's agenda: SHOPPING! .. time to try on dresses g'lore; maybe I'll have shots of that for my next blog :) till then enjoy!

The early morning scent of freshness; dew all over the grass. I awake to a little monkey jumping on my bed screaming outside our window;
Callin' out to his uncle, before he leaves for work.
Emani my sweet little angel; yet hard headed and such a rascal LOL!

Approaching the bathroom to wash our faces and brush our teeths;

we march downstairs to begin a new day! YAY FOR FRIDAY =)

Popped some buttermilk ego waffles into the toaster oven;
country crock butter; the best margarine you'll find on the streets; or atleast I think so LOL!

and some good ol' maple syrup to finish it off; We sit to watch Astro boy and enjoy our little breakfast

Emani, 2 years old, has this thing where he cries for attention; kids at this age do it all the time.

As hard as it is to witness his cry; I'm not backing down to let him have his ways. A lesson I was taught while growing up, Discipline is what I call it. I don't let him sit there to cry; most times if he doesn't listen?

I'll give him a little hiding for the sake of Discipline LOL!

It's not abuse; it's what I call Love♥ for a child ahaha! you want them to learn? You show them their boundries; what's allowed and what's off limits.

Anyway; he's everyone's little rascal; wise attitude yet very brilliant! Be aware, he's sneaky as well ahahaha! have ur back faced on him, and you'll find him digging in your bag for some sweets, candy or gum? he'll snatch it before you know it! LOL! if he doesn't see any sweets in there? He'll go for GOLD and dig in your wallet for money LOL!! .. my little mani'booski is what i call em! He's a lil gangster too! LOL!! he walks like one and even talks like one! if only you could see him first hand; till then have a blessed Friday!

First Blog Ever!

Don't know how this really works; but I'm giving it a shot! thanks to my sissy Theresa ; I can finally use a place to let my feelings out On besides facebook or myspace LOL!! So here goes :)

First of all; let me introduce myself .. The names Molly, you can call me Mollz, some know me as Smackie or SmaxXx :) .. I dont really care which u choose; as long as it's in the category of ma name .. LOL! .. Born and raised here in the beautiful Hawaii.. 23 years young and pretty much living life on a whole new perspective than I did a few months ago :)

So here I am all ready tah blog it up =) I'll use this pretty much as a Diary; so it'll be intersting *ahahaha* anyhow; thought's on my mind at this very moment? Well today's a start of a new begining; a few months ago I was diagnosed with Kidney Failure, today I stand strong with my Kidneys back to normal =)

All praises to him up above for his faithfulness and for not forsaking me, words cannot express how truly greatful I am to have been given a second chance in LIFE.

Thank you Lord for your unconditional Love♥ that you have shed upon me; but most of all for your healing annointing and your faithfulness! Through you ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE :)
